CHAPTER BIBLE VERSES

 

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own; you were bought with a price.  Therefore honor God with your body. (I Corinthians 6:19-20)

 

 

Chapter 1 - Interest

 

1.   "They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

 

2.   "Solomon showed his love for the Lord by walking according to the statutes of his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places." (I Kings 3:3)

 

3.   "He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all.  This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, we have never seen anything like this!" (Mark 2:12)

 

4.   "He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." (Proverbs 13:20)

 

Chapter 2 - Belief

 

1.   "If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow--to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him--then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you." (Deuteronomy 11:22-23)

 

2.   "Jotham grew powerful because he walked steadfastly before the Lord his God." (II Chronicles 27:6)

 

3.   "Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of understanding." (Proverbs 9:6)

 

4.   "But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul." (Joshua 22:5)

 

Chapter 3 - Paperwork

 

1.   "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (I John 1:7))

 

2.   "If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth." (I John 1:6)

 

3.   "Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?  Who may live on your holy hill?  He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart...." (Psalm 15:1-2)

 

4.   "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, this is the way; walk in it." (Isaiah 30:21)

 

Chapter 4 - Basics

 

1.   "It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us." (II John 4)

 

2.   "He whose walk is upright fears the Lord, but he whose ways are devious despises him." (Proverbs 14:2)

 

3.   "Walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess." (Deuteronomy 5:33)

 

4.   "Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden." (Genesis 3:8)

 

 

Chapter 5 - Frequency

 

1.   "Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation." (Psalm 48:12-13)

 

2.   "Jesus answered, are there not twelve hours of daylight?  A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this worldâs light.  It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light." (John 11:9)

 

3.   "Many people will come and say, come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.  He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." (Isaiah 2:3)

 

4.   "When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless." (Genesis 17:1)

 

Chapter 6 - Intensity

 

1.   "Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." (Deuteronomy 11:19)

 

2.   "Jesus answered, are there not twelve hours of daylight?  A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light.  It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light." (John 11:9-10)

 

3.   "Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord." (Psalm 89:15)

 

4.   "Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you." (Genesis 13:17)

 

 

Chapter 7 - Dangers

 

1.   "Come, he said.  Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.  But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, 'Lord, save me!" (Matthew 14:29-30)

 

2..   "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me." (Psalm 138:7)

 

3.   "He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe." (Proverbs 28:26)

 

4.   "The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out." (Proverbs 10:9)

 

Chapter 8 - Physically

 

1.   "When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble." (Proverbs 4:1 

2.   "And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, ...." (Deuteronomy 10:12)

3.   "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4)

 

4.   "And they have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but they cannot walk; nor can they utter a sound with their throats." (Psalm 115:7)

 

Chapter 9 - Equilibrium

 

1.   "But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship as we walked with the throng at the house of God." (Psalm 55:13-14)


2.   "He has showed you, O man, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8)


3.   "So I continued, what you are doing is not right.  Shouldn't you walk in the fear of our God to avoid the reproach of our Gentile enemies?" (Nehemiah 5:9)

 

4.   "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers." (Psalm 1:1)

 

Chapter 10 -Principles

 

1.   "Do not go out to the fields or walk on the roads, for the enemy has a sword, and there is terror on every side." (Jeremiah 6:25)

 

2.   "This is what the LORD says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.' But you said, 'We will not walk in it.'" (Jeremiah 6:16)

 

3.   "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high." (Leviticus 26:13)

Chapter 11 - Socially

 

1.   "Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?" (Amos 3:3)

 

2.   "When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him." (Acts 3:9-10)

4.   "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12)

 

Chapter 12 - Mind

3   "Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death." (Isaiah 57:2)

 

4.   "All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever." (Micah 4:5)

 

Chapter 13 - Results

 

1.   "Walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess." (Deuteronomy 5:33)

 

2.   "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." (Genesis 5:24)

 

3.   "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." (III John 4)

 

4.   "And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands.  As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love." (II John 6)
